Sharing a miraculous moment with you
Molly Casey Duffy
I'm originally from Alexandria, VA and I'm a proud mother of five amazing children between the ages of 9 and 19—three girls and two boys. My birth experiences were all very different. I learned so much from each one and they each have their own story.
I experienced an unexpected cesarean birth after 18 hours of labor with my first child, followed by four successful VBAC that I am very proud of. I am passionate about supporting others who desire a VBAC.
I absolutely loved this time in my life, and it would be truly an honor and a privilege to share in this miraculous and intimate moment with your family.
I have supported family and friends through their labor and deliveries for many years and became a certified doula four years ago to offer the knowledge, care and support families deserve during this thrilling, yet often daunting, time of pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. I have had the privilege of supporting over 80 families as their birth, sibling, and postpartum doula. My hope is to be a calming, compassionate, and empathetic presence to you and your family.
"Asking for help is the opposite of failing, it's the only way to succeed!"
My Approach
As your doula, I will provide you with dedicated support and encouragement. I will also share evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions and feel empowered throughout the process. At the heart of my work as a doula is an unwavering dedication to supporting infants and their families through compassionate care and personalized guidance.
I am driven by the joy of empowering new parents. Ensuring you feel confident and nurtured as you navigate the transformative journey of childbirth and early parenthood. My mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where each family is respected, heard, and uplifted, fostering a deep sense of connection and trust as you embrace this remarkable chapter of life.
My approach to working with you is founded on genuine respect, trust, and having strong reciprocal relationships with you, your new baby, and your family. I want you to feel safe, seen, and understood.
I would LOVE to be that support person that we ALL need and deserve. Having a network of support in place BEFORE your baby arrives makes such a difference.
I can't wait to meet you!
